To ensure that our guests can enjoy their food with peace of mind, we have enhanced our sanitation and quality control procedures as follows to prevent the spread of infection.

All staff members undergo mandatory temperature checks, and are required to wash and sterilize their hands, gargle, and wear masks.

All customers are asked to sterilize their hands upon entering the restaurant.

The restaurant is ventilated and disinfected frequently.

Additional space is provided between tables to adhere to social distancing standards.

At PIZZA FIRENZE, we take great care to provide food which is healthy and organic, with no added preservatives. Take-out and delivery pizzas should be enjoyed as soon as possible - at most within 3 hours of the bake time written on the box.

When reheating take-out and delivery pizzas, use an oven or an oven toaster to ensure the best flavor.

Gluten-free dishes are prepared in the same gluten-free only environment as in the past, to ensure our gluten-sensitive customers can enjoy their food with peace of mind.

From all of us at PIZZA FIRENZE, we look forward to seeing you soon!

"PIZZA FIRENZE Omotesando"
- the first Pizza Firenze shop in Japan

In 1986, Saverio Madeo opened the Trattoria Bordino, a casual restaurant in the heart of Florence, Italy. This marked the beginning of the Pizza Firenze story. In 2001, Madeo opened the pizza specialty shop PIZZAMAN, which pioneered the concept of limiting the number of types of pizzas to six in order to offer only the highest-quality ingredients.

PIZZAMAN passed to the next generation of ownership, and expanded to a total of twelve shops throughout Italy, the home of pizza. During this time, PIZZAMAN evolved the traditional pizzas into “health food pizzas” to meet the increasing demand for healthy food options spreading throughout Europe. A major development was the creation of pizza dough made from flour using dietary fiber (inulin), for a crust which is both delicious and gluten-free. This evolution helped PIZZAMAN spread throughout Italy and into London as a premier restaurant offering healthy pizzas.

To share these new achievements and cutting-edge concept with the rest of the world, we launched our new brand, PIZZA FIRENZE, in 2017. In the fall of 2019, PIZZA FIRENZE, the first shop of its kind in Japan, opened in Omotesando, home to countless people whose love for Florence is second only to their hunger for Italian food in general - and pizza in particular.
